Now that we’ve covered the basics, let’s get to the fun stuff and check out our CEDH Tier List! Tier D cEDH (Weak) – Shouldn’t be used for competitive play in this current meta.Should probably avoid building decks with these commanders unless you really know what you’re doing. Tier C cEDH (Average commanders) – In our opinion, we think that these commanders are pretty average in EDH MTG in this current meta.Tier B cEDH (Decent commanders) – Slightly decent commanders, you can definitely do better by choosing some from the higher tiers.Tier A cEDH (Good commanders) – These are also competitive commanders that you can use but they require even more support and strategy than S ones.Tier S cEDH (Great commanders) – These commanders are still very good but require more support than Tier S+ commanders or require more specific types of decks built around them. They are also very easy to build around and require very little support from other cards to make them work effectively.
